Grain-Free Angel Food Cake: A High Protein, Paleo-Friendly Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup egg whites about 11 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- ¾ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°
- In a medium sized bowl, mix the almond flour, coconut flour, coconut sugar, and salt
- In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until peaks form
- Mix the vanilla extract and baking soda into the egg whites
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
- Transfer the batter to a pan (I chose a loaf pan)
- Bake for 1 hour
- Cool and Enjoy!
