Let’s talk about these healthy ingredients! Even though these bites are overflowing with nutrients, they taste like a bite out of peanut butter chocolate heaven.

Simple, wholesome ingredients

How to make peanut butter energy bites

  • mix wet ingredients: in a medium bowl, stir together the peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth
  • combine dry ingredients: in a separate bowl, mix the oats, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, and hemp seeds
  • combine and form: add dry ingredients into wet and mix well—use a cookie scoop or spoon to form 15 small bites
  • chill: place bites on a parchment-lined trey and freeze for 10 minutes
  • top and enjoy: drizzle with melted chocolate, let set, and enjoy!

Tips and Variations

  • nut-free version: swap peanut butter with sunflower seed butter
  • low-sugar option: use less maple syrup or try a mashed banana
  • add-ins: mix in mini chocolate chips or shredded coconut

I love making these bites in advance to enjoy throughout the week. You can refrigerate them in an airtight container for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
